A group of students from the National Cathedral School in Washington D.C. visited Taiwan to explore its culture and education atmosphere. They embarked on a journey across Taiwan and Hong Kong, spanning 5 different cities and regions. Throughout their trip, they engaged in various activities, including visits to local schools, community service at local kindergartens, and tours of historical landmarks.
During their time in Taiwan, the students experienced both natural landscapes and modern cities, participated in cooking workshops, and practiced their language skills with locals. This trip marked the third visit by American high school students to Taiwan since January of this year. The beautiful scenery of Taiwan and the engaging projects designed by HGE provided the students with a joyful and enriching experience, while also enhancing their Chinese language proficiency. It offered them an immersive understanding of Eastern culture and lifestyles different from their own.
