Community Service is a signature program offered by HGE for American middle school students. It includes three weeks of volunteer work in China during the summer, where students can earn community service credits, along with an additional week of urban exploration. By engaging in cross-cultural community service, students can encounter and understand diverse cultures, promoting cross-cultural
communication and language learning. Additionally, community volunteer work helps students develop a sense of social responsibility and enhance their awareness of social issues. By utilizing their skills and compassion to serve and help others, our students can boost their self-confidence and cultivate problem-solving and communication skills, preparing them to become future leaders in the world.
